Meeting with students.
An event dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Customs Committee in independent Azerbaijan was held. At the event, held with the organizational support of the region executive power, employees of the customs post of the Gabala International Airport and students of the city schools took part. The meeting was opened by the first deputy head of the REP Abil Aghasafov. Then, Khalid Mammadov, the head of the customs post of the Gabala International Airport, told about the glorious path passed by the bodies of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, established in January 1992, about the selfless labor of customs officers over the last 25 years. Also Post Senior Inspector Bulbul Gasimov and Inspector Ruhiyya Tahirova spoke on the topic, they informed about the work done at the customs post during the past period of the current year. It was noted that during the past period of 2017, 27 passenger aircrafts passed customs control. During this period, customs services were rendered to 268 arriving and 340 departing passengers, customs clearance was organized for a number of organizations, enterprises and individuals. Customs officers strengthened their work to control smuggling, eliminate violations of customs regulations, and increased attention to preserving the country's economic security. The leading consultant of the region education department Ahmad Mirzaliyev, the director of the city secondary school No. 1 Mahabbat Rustamova and the director of the city secondary school No. 2 Tarana Salimova addressed the event. In conclusion, numerous questions of the students were answered.
