India and China have won competition on mixed team shooting.
With the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, as well as the organization of the "Gabala" Shooting Club and the Shooting Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan the World Cup in Olympic shooting continues in Gabala.
On June 12, the winners were determined in the mixed team shooting competitions held in the Trap Shooting and Archery Complex in the Bum village. In competitions of shooting with a pistol and a rifle at a distance of 50 meters, one boy and one girl competed simultaneously as a team.
Indian team won first place in the shooting competitions with the pistol, while Chinese team in the rifle shooting competition. The awards were presented to the winners by the representative of the International Shooting Sport Federation, the Secretary General of the Shooting Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan Emin Jafarov and the head of the Gabala Region Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev.
As reported, the championship on the mixed team is an innovation in the history of shooting, and the first such tournament was held during the Grand Prix of shooting competitions in Gabala in September last year.
The International Shooting Sport Federation plans to organize competitions for this new type of shooting in the future.
