The World Cup Competitions in Shooting Ended in Gabala.
The World Cup competitions in Olympic shooting, which took place in Trap Shooting and Archery Complex in the Bum village of Gabala region with the organizational support of the "Gabala" Shooting Club and Azerbaijan Shooting Federation and with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, completed.
On the last day of the competition aт the event on shooting with rifle from distance of 50 meters in 3 positions was held among women and men. Athletes shot the target in kneeling, prone and standing positions. From women Mengyao Shi, a shooter from China won gold, athlete form Austria Nadine Yungerbank - silver, Stine Nielsen from Denmark - bronze medals.
In the competition among men Hungarian shooter István Péni ranked the first, Zicheng Hui from China – the second, shooter from Poland Thomas Bartnik – third places. The winners were awarded by the representatives of the International Shooting Sports Federation and Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev, the Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power.
