In Gabala city, a guest, greeted by the Head of the Region Executive Power, Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev, was given detailed information about the history of the region, its economic situation, social and cultural life.
It was noted that the historical past of Gabala, as rich as its nature, is one of the brightest pages of the history of Azerbaijan. It was brought to the attention that these qualities, highly appreciated by the Head of State Mr. Ilham Aliyev, gave impetus to the creation of modern infrastructure in Gabala and the transformation of the region into an area of international tourism.
It was stressed that along with the rapidly developing tourism infrastructure, existing manufacturing enterprises play an exceptional role in multiplying the economic development of the region. It was reported that the products produced in the area at modern enterprises meeting the latest achievements of scientific and technological progress are exported to many countries of the world. Having said about the richness of the region with fabulous beauty and hospitality, Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev noted that Gabala hosted international events.
