The 99th anniversary of the establishment of Azerbaijani police in Gabala region was marked.
On July 2, on the occasion of Police day in Azerbaijan, law enforcement officers of Gabala region visited the monument of the National Leader in the park named after the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in the city central square. Then, police chief, police colonel Nadir Mammadov made a speech, congratulated police officers on the occasion of Police Day and mentioned that since the establishment of the Azerbaijani police it stands guard over our state and rule of law, and rendered services in protecting human rights, strengthening public order. In this speech the speaker highlighted that thanks to the care of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijan’s national police was formed and became a flexible structure as one of the foundations of our statehood and noted that the professionalism of the police in carrying out the tasks set for the police by the President Ilham Aliyev is constantly growing and all forces are mobilized for the convenience of citizens…
At the meeting, it was expressed that great attention and care have been provided to the Azerbaijani police during the reign of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and currently the work of police officers are duly appreciated by the President Ilham Aliyev. It was noted that, Azerbaijani police is a reliable guarantor of security, stability and protection of public order in our country. At the event, other officials, police veterans taking part in the event made a speech and conveyed their congratulations to the police officers on the occasion of the remarkable day, and said that law enforcement officers have exclusive services to ensure stability in the country, to fight against crime. In conclusion, a group of police officers distinguished in the police service and the police veterans were awarded certificates, diplomas and valuable gifts.
