Meeting with the winners of subject Olympiad.

A group of students of secondary schools of the region were awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals for educational achievements in the last academic year. They were awarded these medals for the extensive knowledge demonstrated at the Republican Subject Olympiad on April 22 of this year. On July 11, the Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev, received a student of the 11th grade of the senior secondary school of Soltannukha village, who took the first place in the mathematics and won the gold medal, Elsun Rzayev, a student of the 11th grade of city secondary school No. 4, Nigar Muzaffarova, a student of the 9th grade, who took the second place in the Azerbaijani language and won the silver medal, Jala Safaraliyeva, a student of the 9th grade of the secondary school of Hamzali village, who took the second place in geography and won the silver medal, Turaj Tahirova, a student of the 11th grade of the senior secondary school of Zaraghan village, who took the third place in the Azerbaijani language and won the bronze medal, Nilufer Jabrayilbeyli, a student of the 11th grade of secondary school of Malikli village, who took the third place in chemistry and won bronze medal, Goncha Bakhtiyarova, a student of the 9th grade of the senior secondary school No. 1 of the Vandam settlement, who took the third place in chemistry and won the bronze medal, Sona Panahli. Sabuhi Abdullayev congratulated the schoolchildren who won success in the final stage of the Olympiad with these great achievements, spoke about the education reforms conducted in the country under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the measures taken to improve the level of education, the work done by the state in the field of capital repair of educational institutions, construction of new buildings, strengthening of their material and technical supply, and brought to the attention that all this is done in favour of happy future of Azerbaijan.
The student of the senior secondary school of Soltanukha village, Elsun Rzayev, expressed his deep gratitude on behalf of his fellow Olympiad participants for the warm welcome to the Head of the Region Executive Power, Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev. The Deputy Head of the Region Education Department, Yashar Nazirov, noted in his speech that the traditional achievements of Gabala in education will be long-lasting, the teachers will join all forces, applying the most progressive methods, to develop the knowledge and abilities of students with modern fundamentals. At the meeting, the winners of the Olympiad were presented with the Honorary Diplomas of the Region Executive Power and memorable gifts.
