Performance of Great Britain's “FeMusa” Chamber Orchestra in Gabala aroused great interest
Within the framework of the IX Gabala International Music Festival, the next concert program was presented by “FeMusa” Chamber Orchestra of Great Britain.
The performance of the orchestra aroused great interest among audience. “FeMusa” organized in 2008 by the talented female musicians of Great Britain performs works by modern composers. The repertoire of the orchestra includes rare and little known works along with traditional Western music. The musicians from Britain, on the stage of Gabala Festival, performed the works by A.Vivaldi, E.Elgar, P. Warlock, P. Lewis, E. Bloch, K. Jenkins, F.Amirov and G.Garayev. The spectators passionately applauded the performance of the orchestra. We need to remind that, IX Gabala International Music Festival which takes place with the organizational support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and with the support of Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and “Gilan Holding” will last till August 3.
