Concert of Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra was held within Gabala International Music Festival

IX Gabala International Music Festival held with the organizational support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and "Gilan Holding" continues. The program of the festival is very rich and each day two concerts are performed with different musical compositions. The concert of the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli was held on August 2, on the open stage installed in front of the Heydar Aliyev Congress Center in Gabala. In the magnificent musical evening, People's Artist conductor Rauf Abdullayev, and Honored Artist conductor Fuad Ibrahimov directed the orchestra. Murad Adigozalzadeh (piano), director of the Azerbaijan State Philharmony, Professor Yegana Akhundova (piano), Pro-rector of the Baku Music Academy, Mojca Zlobko Vajgl (harp), professor of the Ljubljana Music Academy of Slovenia, Massimo Mercelli (Flute), artistic director of the Emilia Romagna Festival of Italy, performed works of Azerbaijani and European composers at the concert. Concert caused great interest of the audience.
