The delegation headed by Jaroslaw Grobelny, the first deputy mayor of Gniezno city of the Republic of Poland, visiting the Republic of Azerbaijan at the invitation of Gabala Region Executive Power, visited Gabala region to take part in the anniversary event of the annual V International Jam Festival. The delegation welcomed by the Head of the Region Executive Power, Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev in Gabala received detailed information about the region's history, economic situation, social and cultural life. It was stated that the history of Gabala being as rich as its nature makes up a bright page in the history of Azerbaijan. The Head of the Regional Executive Power gave detailed information about the remains of the fortress walls of ancient Gabala city survived to our days and tangible and cultural samples found in archeological excavations here. As noted, along with being a tourism region, Gabala also hosts significant cultural, art and sports events. In his turn, Jaroslaw Grobelny, the head of the delegation from the Gniezno city of the Republic of Poland, expressing his gratefulness for hospitality, emphasized the great significance of the held festival. Highly appreciating the mutual relations between the Gabala region of Azerbaijan Republic and the Gniezno city of Polish Republic, the speaker brought to attention that he witnessed wonderful amenities of the Gabala nature. Speaking about pursuing cooperation in tourism and culture, Jaroslaw Grobelny mentioned that it will stimulate the economic development between Gniezno and Gabala. During the visit the delegation got acquainted with the administrative building of the regional executive power, got closely familiar with operating industrial establishments, modern architectural buildings and tourism sector.
