A blood donation action was held within the frame of "For Life Without Thalassemia" program.

On May 16th a blood donation action was held in the Treatment-Diagnostic Centre of Gabala city within the frame of "For Life Without Thalassemia" program at the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation with the organizational support of the Executive Power of Gabala region.
Taking part in the action, more than 168 people from the departments, organizations and enterprises of the region fulfilled their civil duty.
After investigation, collected blood was sent to the Central Blood Bank for transfusion in the future to the patients with thalassemia and hemophilia.
