Participants of "Learning our country" tour-campaign left Gabala with pleasant impressions.
Within the campaign, schoolchildren from Bilasuvar, Kurdamir, Hajigabul, Saatli, Sabirabad, Zardab, Ujar, Khojavend, Lachin, Khojaly and Kelbajar regions who took part in the tour-campaign on the Gabala-Shaki-Zagatala route under the slogan "Learning our country" acquainted thoroughly with Gabala region. Participants of the tour-campaign were given information about the rich history of Gabala, being one of the oldest cities of Azerbaijan. It was noted that the ancient monuments of architecture of national importance, presented in the region, are considered unique pearls of cultural heritage. The participants of the campaign were provided with detailed information on the successes achieved in the socio-economic and cultural life of ancient and modern Gabala, which was the capital of the Caucasian Albania for 900 years, and today rapidly developing became one of the most beautiful cities in Azerbaijan, its geography, ethnography and population's employment. Within the visit, the schoolchildren got acquainted with cultural and historical places, recreation and health centers, industrial enterprises and modern tourist infrastructure.
