The comprehensive training in civil defense was held in the region.

In accordance with the plan of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on the training of civil defense troops, the comprehensive training on the subject of "Organization of management of bodies and forces of the civil defense during the post-disaster recovery" was held in Gabala. 
The comprehensive training was attended by the executive power of Gabala Region, District Committee of Emergency Situations, regional civil defense services, forces and assets of the civil defense, as well as household objects.
The purpose of the comprehensive training consisted of the test of readiness to the implementation of the tasks set during an emergency situation, the organization of protection of the population and employees during emergency situations and implementation of civil defense measures associated with this, enforcement of rescue and other urgent works during the post-disaster recovery, as well as imparting skills in this direction.
During the training, the regional civil defense forces completed the works in neutralization of a group of criminals who entered the simulated object, protection of the areas after an emergency situation, controlling the entry and exit to the territory, extinguishing of occurred fires, containment of chemical damage zone, organization of chemical reconnaissance at the facility affected by explosion, search and rescue works and fast medical help to the victims, as well as problems associated with evacuating people to safe areas.
The training was focused on improving the management skills of commanders and chiefs, the implementation of practical measures, the improvement of professional skills of personnel of civil defense units, strict observance of safety rules during the rescue and other urgent works.
Speaking at the event, the head of the District Executive Power, Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev said that civil defense is a work for nation and the state pays a lot of attention to this area, describing in detail its significance, thanked the officers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the regional civil defense forces for high professionalism during the training.
The comprehensive training, conducted jointly by the Department of Civil Defense of Civil Defense Troops of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Regional Office of Emergency Situations and Civil Defence of Shamakhi and Gabala Region Executive Power involved the officer corps of 18 people, civil defense units of service organizations, composed of 300 people, 34 parts of the necessary equipment and mechanisms.
