A tree-planting campaign was held in the Gabala region on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of New Azerbaijan Party.
Within the period under the national leader Heydar Aliyev’s leadership in our country, the environmental protection, improvement of the environmental conditions, especially greening were of great importance, therefore, major and large-scale programs were adopted, and large actions were implemented. The environmental policy developed by the great leader Heydar Aliyev is successfully carried out under the President Ilham Aliyev’s leadership in recent times, and that has positive results in a continuous manner. According to the relevant instructions given by the head of state with a view to maintain the ecological balance in the republic, and on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of New Azerbaijan Party, the tree-planting campaign organized by the Gabala Regional Organization of the NAP and Gabala Region Executive Power was held at Zarifa Aliyeva street, Gabala city and in block parks. Wastes were removed from the surrounding area, agro-technical maintenance for the existing greenery was provided, some trees more than 3300 including plane tree, poplar, Eldar pine and ash tree were planted at large-scale clean-up event where the Head of Gabala Region Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev, representatives of law enforcement agencies, offices, entities, organizations and community, citizens as volunteers, as well as young people actively took part.
