A commemorative event on “Heydar Aliyev’s Personality and the Philosophy of Statehood” was organized
On May 6, 2026, the 103rd anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s birth was marked with an event titled “Heydar Aliyev’s Personality and the Philosophy of Statehood,” jointly organized by the Shaki-Zagatala Regional Youth and Sports Department, the Heydar Aliyev Center of Gabala Region, and the Gabala regional “ASAN service” center.
At the ceremony organized at the Heydar Aliyev Center of Gabala Region, the event began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This was followed by a minute of silence to honor the memory of Heydar Aliyev, the architect of modern Azerbaijani statehood, as well as the martyrs who gave their lives for the country’s territorial integrity. Speakers at the event stated that Heydar Aliyev, the architect and founder of the independent Azerbaijani state and the savior of our people, laid the solid foundations of statehood through his wise and far-sighted policy, and defined the main directions of the country’s political, economic, and cultural development. In conclusion, a video presentation highlighting the life and work of the National Leader was shown.
