A conference on "The legacy of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev is our national wealth" was held within the framework of "Year of Heydar Aliyev"
On May 31, 2023, a conference on "The legacy of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev is our national wealth" was held within the framework of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" organized by the Gabala District Executive Power. The participants of the conference visited the monument of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, which was erected in the center of the city, put flowers in front of the monument and expressed their great respect and reverence for the memory of the great person. At the conference held with the participation of the Gabala District Executive Power, law enforcement agencies, representatives of administrative enterprises and organizations, intellectuals, elders and the rural community, the National Anthem of Azerbaijan was first played, and sacred memory of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and our heroes who died for the liberation of our land from occupation was commemorated with a 1-minute silence. Opening the event with an introductory speech, the Head of the Gabala District Executive Power, Sabuhi Abdullayev, welcomed the guests and conference participants and he noted that the legacy of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, during the times when he led Azerbaijan, he always tried to protect the national and moral values of our people, develop our national culture, and enrich the traditions of the people, and emphasized that this tradition is successfully continued today by the country's president Ilham Aliyev. Speakers at the event noted that, the national leader Heydar Aliyev has great merits in restoring and enriching the traditions of statehood in Azerbaijan, in creating a democratic and legal state based on international norms, in highly appreciating the traditions of tolerance and multiculturalism, and in preserving our national, spiritual and moral values. At the end, a video clip "The legacy of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev is our national wealth" was shown.
