A contract has been signed between the Gabala Region Executive Power and Azerbaijan Technical University
Discussions were held between representatives of the Gabala Region Executive Power and Azerbaijan Technical University regarding the contract for preparing the “Urban Mobility Plan” in Gabala city. The head of Gabala Region Executive Power, Sabuhi Abdullayev, along with the Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University, Vilayat Valiyev, the Director of the School of Lifelong Learning, Aynura Ismayilova, the Director of the Institute of Logistics and Transport, Fuad Dashdamirov, and other colleagues from the university participated in a meeting where the importance of the mobility plan was discussed. The discussion focused on the need for accessible, efficient, and sustainable transportation systems for everyone, especially addressing the needs of vulnerable groups such as women, children, persons with disabilities, and the elderly. It was emphasized that by expanding public transportation, significant efforts would be made to improve road safety. Ideas were exchanged regarding the progress of the project. Ultimately, a contract was signed between the Gabala Region Executive Power and Azerbaijan Technical University for the purpose of preparing the “Urban Mobility Plan”.
