A meeting was held with the press workers in Gabala
On the occasion of the “National Press Day” on July 22, 2022, a meeting was held with the employees of the “Gabala” newspaper editorial office at Gabala Region Executive Power. Speaking at the meeting, the head of the region’s executive power, Sabuhi Abdullayev, congratulated the press workers on the occasion of the “National Press Day” and said that the national press of Azerbaijan has passed a path of intense development, and the line of enlightenment, innovation, and modern cultural thinking that began with the “Akinchi” newspaper has been continued, played an exceptional role in the national self-awareness, national awakening process of our people, and presented honorary decrees of the region’s executive power to the employees of the “Gabala” newspaper editorial office, an organ of the Gabala Region Executive Power, for their effective activities and active participation in the public life of the region. Azad Mammadov, speaking on behalf of the press workers, spoke about the high level of care shown by the President of the country, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, to the press, especially to journalists in Azerbaijan today, and expressed his gratitude to the country’s leadership for this attention.
