A new school building has been put into operation in Gabala
On September 15, 2022, the opening ceremony of the building of complete secondary school No. 1 in Zaraghan village of Gabala region, built according to the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev dated July 30, 2020, was held. In the event attended by the Deputy Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Idris Isayev, the head of the Gabala Region Executive Power, Sabuhi Abdullayev, the village community, the school’s teaching and student staff, and mass media representatives, the memory of our martyrs who were martyred during the operations carried out by our army in response to the large-scale provocation of the Armenian armed forces in the direction of Dashkasan, Kalbajar and Lachin on the night of September 12 was commemorated with a minute of silence. Speaking at the event, the Deputy Minister of Science and Education spoke about the attention and care given to education in our country, and the important measures carried out to strengthen the material and technical base of educational institutions. In his speech, the head of the Gabala Region Executive Power, Sabuhi Abdullayev, talked about the successful continuation of the attention and care given to education by the great leader Heydar Aliyev by the Honorable President Mr. Ilham Aliyev today, the socio-economic development in the region, noted the construction of about 40 school buildings and pre-school educational institutions in our region in recent years, and congratulated the school staff and parents on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year. Later, he got acquainted with the conditions created in the school.
