On February 13, 2026, at the initiative of the Gabala Region Executive Power and the Gabala Region Education Sector of the Sheki-Zagatala Regional Education Department, an educational event aimed at preventing school absenteeism was organized at the Gabala city Secondary General Education School No. 1. The event was attended by the representatives of the Gabala Region Executive Power, the regional police department, the education sector, and parents. It was emphasized that factors leading to students’ absenteeism must be addressed, and attention was drawn to the importance of regularly holding educational events in general education schools to prevent such undesirable situations. The event continued in the form of a mutual discussion.
