A series of events dedicated to January 20, the National Mourning Day, were held in educational institutions under the authority of Gabala district

On the occasion of the 36th anniversary of January 20 tragedy, lectures and roundtable discussions were organized on topics such as “The Motherland will not forget its martyrs!”, “A glorious page in our history”, and other topics. The events started with the National Anthem and a one-minute moment of silence in memory of the martyrs of the Motherland. The speakers at the event provided students with detailed information about the historical background of January 20, 1990 tragedy, and advised students to never forget January 20, the day of national pride, and always remember those who made this history. The event concluded with the presentation of literary-artistic compositions and stage performances prepared by students.
