A series of events dedicated to Novruz was organized in the educational institutions of the Gabala Region
In connection with Novruz holiday, a cycle of events was held in the educational institutions of the Gabala Region. During these events, students were provided with detailed information on the significance of the historical attributes of Novruz — the Tuesdays of Water, Fire, Wind, and Earth — which reflect the ancient history of our people and incorporate our national customs and traditions. It was emphasized that Novruz, heralding the revival of nature, symbolizes peace, tranquility, unity, and friendship among people. Particular attention was paid to the importance of passing national traditions on to future generations and preserving our national and spiritual values. Students also presented engaging performances reflecting the traditions of Novruz, including national dances and songs. Comical skits featuring Kechal and Kosa, as well as the arrival of Bahar Gizi, added a special atmosphere to the events. Festive bonfires were lit, around which the schoolchildren performed the yalli dance.
