A solemn festive event on the occasion of the Victory Day was held in Gabala
On November 8, 2023, a festive event on the occasion of the “Victory Day” was held in the Heydar Aliyev Park in Gabala region. The participants of the event first got acquainted with the exhibition of works by schoolchildren of the district. At the event with the participation of representatives of the executive power of the district, law enforcement agencies, management teams, enterprises and organizations, members of the public, family members of the martyrs of the Patriotic War, war participants and veterans, the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed, and the memory of the martyrs was honored with a minute of silence. The head of the Region Executive Power Sabuhi Abdullayev spoke about the great success of the army building strategy laid by the great leader Heydar Aliyev, which was successfully continued today by the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, and the historic victory of the brave Azerbaijani army under his leadership and congratulated the participants of the event and the Azerbaijani people on the “Victory Day”. The event was accompanied by a concert program of artists and music groups.
