An event dedicated to the memory of the Academician Zarifa Aliyeva was held
On April 28th, 2022, an event dedicated to the 99th anniversary of the birth of an outstanding ophthalmologist, Academician Zarifa Aliyeva, was organized jointly by the Gabala Region Executive Power and the NAP Gabala District Organization. The participants laid flowers at the bust of Zarifa Aliyeva in the park, laid out to perpetuate her memory. The event was continued at the NAP Gabala District Organization. The speakers told about the professional and personal life, as well as high integrity standards of the outstanding Azerbaijani scientist, Doctor of Medicine, Professor, Honored Scientist, Academician Zarifa Aziz Aliyeva, who made a huge contribution to the science of ophthalmology. They noted that, making a significant contribution to the development of medical science in the county, she became famous for her monumental researches on advanced topics in ophthalmology. The speakers mentioned that her scientific, pedagogical and social activities had a strong impact on the mentoring of a new generation of doctors and the development of ophthalmology in Azerbaijan. In conclusion, a film about the professional and personal life of the academician was shown.
