Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to the Republic of Azerbaijan Rodrigo Labardini visited Gabala region
On May 20, 2022, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to the Republic of Azerbaijan Juan Rodrigo Labardini Flores visited Gabala region. The ambassador was welcomed by the head of Gabala Region Executive Power, Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev, and given detailed information about the history, economic situation, social and cultural life of the region. It was noted that today the tourism infrastructure in Gabala region is considered one of the main and important fields, and the number of tourists visiting here for recreation is growing significantly year-by-year. Noting that he visited many regions of Azerbaijan, Ambassador Juan Rodrigo Labardini Flores said that today there are good opportunities for developing cooperation and building strong partnerships between the two countries and stressed that he was deeply impressed by the rapid economic development processes in Azerbaijan and that this stage of development did not pass unnoticed in Gabala region. Sharing his views on cooperation in the field of tourism, the Ambassador noted that our country is known in the world for its hospitality, culture and cuisine. Then the Ambassador and the delegation got acquainted with the historical and cultural sites, industrial enterprises and the tourism sector of the region.
