An event dedicated to the awarding of the medal “Participant of the Patriotic War” was held
On November 8, 2022, in accordance with the relevant order of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov, the ceremony of awarding medals “Participant of the Patriotic War” to the participants of the war from the Gabala region was held. Speaking at the event, the head of the Gabala Region Department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, Colonel Anar Aghabayov spoke about the Victory won in the Patriotic War under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, about the courage of our soldiers who fought heroically, and congratulated the participants of the war on the holiday “November 8 - Victory Day” and were awarded medals, wished God’s mercy to the martyrs, patience to their parents, and good health to the veterans. Later, the “Participants in the Patriotic War” medals were presented to the participants in the Patriotic War from our region who took part in military operations during the Patriotic War and showed courage and bravery, successfully performed their duties and combat tasks. The participants of war thanked the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for their attention and care.
