An event entitled “The Eternal Legacy of a Great Personality” dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev took place
An event entitled “The Eternal Legacy of a Great Personality”, dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, was held at the Gabala Region Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party. It started with a minute of silence in memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of Azerbaijani lands, followed by the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Opening the event with a welcoming speech, Chairperson of the Gabala Region Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, Abil Aghasafov, spoke about the exceptional services of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in the establishment and strengthening of Azerbaijani statehood. He emphasized that the New Azerbaijan Party had emerged out of historical necessity — founded upon Heydar Aliyev’s profound ideas of statehood and the people’s call for national unity — and that today the party plays a leading role in the country’s socio-political life. Other speakers highlighted the rich political legacy of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, his historic contributions to the Azerbaijani people, and the continuing importance of his ideas for the country’s development today. Later, young activist Suriya Nasirova was awarded a Certificate of Honor for her active participation and upstanding representation of the Gabala Region in the digital idea competition “Modern Urban Planning Vision: The Harmony of Tradition and Innovation”, jointly organized by the Central Office of the New Azerbaijan Party, the Party’s Youth Union, and Baku Slavic University. Membership cards were also presented to the party’s new members. The event concluded with the screening of a video dedicated to the life and legacy of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
