An event on the topic “Heydar Aliyev and the Ideology of Azerbaijanism” was held
An event on the topic “Heydar Aliyev and the Ideology of Azerbaijanism” was held at the Gabala Region Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party. During the event, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was sounded, and a minute of silence was observed in memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of the republic. In his speech, Chairperson of the Gabala Region Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, Abil Aghasafov, noted that the ideology of Azerbaijanism, established by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, represents the main ideological framework ensuring the unity of the people, national identity, and the strengthening of statehood. He emphasized that the advancement of this ideology is currently being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev and it plays an important role in the country’s development and in strengthening its international standing. The speakers highlighted that the ideology of Azerbaijanism, as defined by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, holds a special place as one of the key directions in the field of education, emphasizing that its primary objective is to foster the younger generation in a national spirit, with devotion to the homeland and high moral values. It was also noted that it is of great importance in terms of preserving and transmitting national and spiritual values to future generations and plays a significant role in cultivating patriotism among youth. At the end of the event, a group of party members actively participating in the activities of the New Azerbaijan Party were awarded certificates of honor, while new members were presented with party membership cards.
