An event titled “From National Salvation to Victory: Heydar Aliyev’s Strategy in Our Independence” was held
On June 10, an event dedicated to June 15 — National Salvation Day, titled “From National Salvation to Victory: Heydar Aliyev’s Strategy in Our Independence,” was held at the Secondary School No. 2 named after Hikmat Rashidov in Vandam settlement of Gabala region. The event was jointly organized by the Gabala Region Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) and the territorial party organization of Vandam settlement. First, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed, after which the memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who gave their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was honored with a minute of silence. In his speech, the chairperson of the Gabala Region Organization of NAP, Abil Aghasafov, spoke about the historical significance of National Salvation Day, noting that the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, who returned to the leadership of the country in 1993 at the persistent demand of the people, saved the country from the threat of chaos and disintegration, and that the reforms and large-scale projects implemented by him for the development of the state are today being successfully continued and further developed under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev in accordance with the challenges of the modern era. Other speakers noted that the National Leader Heydar Aliyev has forever inscribed his name in history as the architect of the modern independent Azerbaijan, and that all the achievements attained are based on his rich legacy and ideas. At the end, certificates of honor and gifts were presented to a group of active party members participating in the activities of the Gabala Region Organization of NAP, and the anthem of the New Azerbaijan Party was performed.
