An event titled “From the Mission of Salvation to a Bright Future: Heydar Aliyev’s Wisdom and a Strong Azerbaijan” was held

An event dedicated to 15 June – National Salvation Day, under the theme “From a Mission of Salvation to a Bright Future: Heydar Aliyev’s Wisdom and a Strong Azerbaijan”, was jointly organized on 11 June by the Gabala Region Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party and the Gabala Region Central Hospital Public Legal Entity. The event began with a one-minute silence in memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the founder of the modern independent Azerbaijani state, and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country's territorial integrity and sovereignty. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed. A video presentation dedicated to June 15 – National Salvation Day was screened. Addressing the event, Abil Aghasafov, Chairman of the Gabala Region Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, spoke about the exceptional significance of June 15 in Azerbaijan’s statehood history, stating that June 15, 1993 was a historic turning point when the Azerbaijani people overcame a period of crisis and the country’s independence took on an irreversible character. At a time when the country was facing the threat of fragmentation and civil war, the return to power of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev at the insistence of the people played a decisive role in saving Azerbaijan from crisis. Today, under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, who firmly continues the political course of the National Leader, Azerbaijan has fully restored its territorial integrity and sovereignty and is experiencing the most powerful period in its history. The ideology of National Salvation stands as a powerful foundation that has guided us to the glorious Victory. Speaking at the event, Jeyhun Ahmadov, Chairman of the territorial party organization and Director of the Gabala Region Central Hospital Public Legal Entity, highlighted the significance of the reforms implemented by the National Leader in all areas of the country, particularly in the healthcare sector. According to him, the designation of National Salvation Day as an official state holiday reflects the deep and lasting admiration of the people for Heydar Aliyev’s wisdom. With the national statehood concept established by the Great Leader, the future development path of our country was defined. Today, the initiatives carried out under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, together with the establishment of modern healthcare infrastructure, are a successful continuation of that strategy of national salvation. Speakers from among other party activists referred to the rich statehood legacy of the Great Leader, the historical achievements of modern Azerbaijan, and the leading role of the New Azerbaijan Party in society. Afterwards, membership cards were ceremonially presented to young employees who had recently joined the New Azerbaijan Party. The event concluded with the performance of the New Azerbaijan Party anthem.
