An event titled “Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijani Youth” was held
An event on the theme “Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijani Youth,” dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of Heydar Aliyev’s birth, was co-organized by the Gabala region organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) and the Gabala State Vocational Education Center. The event opened with a one-minute silence in tribute to Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed. In his speech, Anar Shirinov, deputy chairman of the Gabala district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), noted that Great Leader Heydar Aliyev had always regarded Azerbaijani youth as the future of the country and had taken important steps to ensure their holistic development. Highlighting that this policy is being successfully continued today by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, he stated that the New Azerbaijan Party plays a significant role in fostering young people’s socio-political engagement, enhancing their leadership qualities, and reinforcing their attachment to national and moral values. Subsequently, employees of the Gabala State Vocational Education Center — Turkan Gozalli, Fatima Taghiyeva, and Emil Isazada— noted in their speeches that Azerbaijani youth today stand at the core of state policy. It was stated that the achievements in education, sports, science, and innovation clearly demonstrate the effective guidance and proper direction of young people’s potential. In the speeches, it was specifically emphasized that young people’s loyalty to the state, commitment to national and moral values, and sense of patriotism are the direct result of the political course shaped by Heydar Aliyev. The event continued with a cultural program. At the end of the event, marking the 103rd anniversary of the birth of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, Gabala State Vocational Education Center director Galib Nabiyev was awarded a letter of appreciation for his active participation in the activities of the Gabala region organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), and membership cards were presented to newly admitted party members.
