On February 12, 2026, an event titled “Protection of Women's Rights and Gender Equality” was held, jointly organized by the Gabala District History and Ethnography Museum and the Center for Support of Children and Families. Speakers at the event noted that the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev placed special importance on increasing the role of women in society, emphasizing that in the modern era, Azerbaijani women have become active participants in the state-building process and have made valuable contributions to enhancing the country’s socio-economic and intellectual-cultural potential.
