An event titled “The Path from Independence to Victory” dedicated to the Independence Day – May 28 was held
At the initiative of the Gabala Region Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), an event titled “The Path from Independence to Victory” dedicated to the Independence Day – May 28 was held. At the beginning of the event, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed, and the memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who gave their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was honored with a minute of silence. Speaking at the event, Chairperson of the Gabala Region Organization of NAP Abil Aghasafov highlighted the important place of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in our history and noted that the people’s aspiration for independence became eternal and irreversible thanks to the far-sighted policy of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev. He emphasized that today, under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan is becoming even stronger, enhancing its authority in the international arena and successfully continuing to pursue an independent policy. Other speakers reflected on the difficult and glorious path of struggle traversed by Azerbaijan, noted that the country’s achievements are the result of the unity between the people and the government, and expressed confidence that Azerbaijan will continue to develop on the basis of the ideas of the National Leader. They emphasized the importance of educating young people in the spirit of patriotism and noted that safeguarding our independence is the sacred duty of every citizen of Azerbaijan. At the conclusion of the event, a video dedicated to Independence Day – May 28 was screened, after which the anthem of the New Azerbaijan Party was performed.
