An event titled “The Voice of Independence” was held dedicated to the Independence Day – May 28
On May 26, an event titled “The Voice of Independence”, dedicated to the Independence Day – May 28, was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center of the Gabala Region. The event started with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, after which the bright memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who gave their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of our country was honored with a minute of silence. The speeches provided detailed information about the history of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, our people’s struggle for independence, the preservation of statehood traditions, and the development path of independent Azerbaijan. Information was also presented on the important measures implemented by National Leader Heydar Aliyev to strengthen independent statehood and on the successful continuation of this political course by Ilham Aliyev. As part of the event, poems dedicated to the Motherland, independence, and statehood were recited, a video was screened, and an exhibition reflecting the history of our independence, state symbols, and Azerbaijan’s path of development was presented.
