An event titled “Youth for a Healthy Future” was held

On April 8, 2026, an awareness-raising event was held to combat drug addiction and promote a healthy lifestyle. The event was jointly organized by the Heydar Aliyev Center of the Gabala Region and city branch No. 2 of the Centralized Library System. The speakers provided detailed information on the serious harm drug addiction causes to human health, the institution of the family, and society as a whole, the importance of state policy in this area, as well as the legal and medical consequences of drug use, the causes of addiction, and ways to prevent it. As part of the event, a video clip on the subject was shown, participants’ questions were answered, and discussions on the topic were held.
