An Open Day event was held at the Gabala State Vocational Education Centre
On August 21, 2026, an Open Day was held at the Gabala State Vocational Education Centre with the aim of increasing young people’s interest in vocational education and presenting the centre’s activities and the opportunities it provides to the public. The event was attended by the representatives of the State Agency for Vocational Education under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Department for Work with Educational Institutions of the Educational Student Loan Fund, the Gabala Region Executive Power, the regional education sector, and the private sector, as well as individuals who successfully passed the first stage of student admission for the 2026/27 academic year, parents, successful graduates, media representatives, and representatives of partner enterprises and organisations. The speakers covered the measures being implemented in the country to develop vocational education, the role of vocational education in training qualified personnel in line with labour market requirements, and the importance of proper career guidance for young people. They also addressed the importance of students making the right choice of profession, career and professional choice, the prospects of vocational education, and the favourable conditions created at the Gabala State Vocational Education Centre. The guests had the opportunity to learn more about the educational process and the conditions created for students and attended master classes and exhibitions featuring handicrafts made by students and graduates. During the event, certificates of honour were presented to members of the administrative and engineering-pedagogical staff who had distinguished themselves through their special contributions to the centre’s activities and the educational process. At the end of the event, participants were provided with detailed information about Educational Student Loan opportunities and the admission rules for the new academic year.
