Asim Safarov, gone missing during the First Karabakh War, was buried 30 years later

The remains of Safarov Asim Nadir, a resident of Gamarvan village, Gabala region, who went missing during the First Karabakh War, were brought to his native village for burial. The farewell ceremony for the martyr was attended by the heads of region executive authorities, law enforcement agencies, the region department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, employees of departments, enterprises and organizations, members of his family and public representatives. After the funeral, flowers were laid at his grave and prayers were read for the repose of his soul. The flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan covering the casket of Asim Safarov was handed over to the martyr's family.
