The Azerbaijani national badminton team concluded the III CIS Games with a total of seven medals.

At the III CIS Games, Azerbaijani badminton player Leyla Jamalzada faced Russian Marina Tarasova in the girls’ individual event. Our athlete lost 0:2 to her opponent and took second place, winning the silver medal. Earlier, our badminton players had won 6 bronze medals. Accordingly, the national team completed the tournament with seven medals overall six bronze and one silver. Awards were presented to the winners at the conclusion of the competition.
