CIS Games: Azerbaijani National Football team wins silver medal

The Russian U-16 national football team emerged as the winner of the III CIS Games. In the final match held at the Gabala City Stadium, the team coached by Valentin Gavva faced the Azerbaijani national team. The match ended with a 3-2 victory for Russia. Azerbaijan’s goals were scored by Ali Bashirov in the 46th and 67th minutes. For Russia, the goals were scored by Klim Denisov in the 73rd minute, Ivan Kuzmin in the 74th minute, and Ratmir Lukianov in the 76th minute. As a result, Russia claimed the gold medal, and Azerbaijan secured the silver medal.
