Event entitled “A Strong Army Building That Lies at the Foundation of the Historic Victory” held
On the occasion of Armed Forces Day, marked on June 26, the Gabala Region Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), jointly with the Gabala State Vocational Education Centre, held an event entitled “A Strong Army Building That Lies at the Foundation of the Historic Victory.” The event started with the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a one-minute silence in memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of our lands. The speakers noted that the important reforms in the field of army building implemented by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev played a significant role in the formation of today's strong Azerbaijani Army. They emphasized that the historic Victory achieved under the leadership of the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief is a source of pride for our people, spoke about the development path of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and the efforts undertaken to strengthen the country's defence capability, and noted that the achievements of our army are a source of pride for every Azerbaijani. The event concluded with the screening of a video dedicated to the Armed Forces Day – June 26.
