The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized the opening ceremony for the final stage of the 10th "Young Rescuer" International competition and the 11th "Young Rescuer and Firefighter" All-Republican championship on June 30 in the city of Kebele. The Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, the Head of the Gabala District Executive Power Sabuhi Abdullayev, representatives of the local departments of the Ministry of Science and Education, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in total, 18 teams from the republic and 6 teams of international participants (teams from Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia and Belarus), children and family members of the martyrs of the Patriotic War, media and public representatives attended the ceremony. The ceremony started with the bringing of the State Flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the square and the playing of the State Anthem. Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Lieutenant-General Adil Abdullayev emphasized that the national leader of our people Heydar Aliyev has always been particularly sensitive to the issue of raising youth and young people in the spirit of national patriotism, loyalty to the nation and state. He noted that this competition plays an important role in the formation of practical habits in the field of emergency response, as well as further expansion of international cooperation in this direction. Addressing the ceremony, the Head of the Gabala District Executive Power Sabuhi Abdullayev spoke about the importance of the competitions, how young people and youth gain new experience in the field of emergency response and wished success to the participants of the event. Then the ceremonial march of the teams that participated in the competitions was held. This year's competition invited 19 children of martyrs from different regions of the republic. Additional programs are planned to effectively organize their leisure time. The competitions will continue until July 6.
