Gabala celebrated Novruz.
A region-wide Novruz celebration took place in Gabala. It was attended by the teams of departments, enterprises and organizations, the elders, the members of the general public, and the city visitors. Dede Gorgud, symbolizing nobility and wisdom, and Bahar gizi, being the messenger of spring, congratulated the Gabala residents and wished abundance and prosperity in the new year to all the people of Azerbaijan. During the theatricalized Novruz festival, reviving our ancient traditions, Dede Gorgud lit a festive bonfire. On this joyful day, he called our people to unity and solidarity. The craftsmen of the region demonstrated their works at the exhibition, including handmade products, pieces of decorative and applied arts and painting, as well as festive sweets and honcha trays. The performances of folk groups and national music reflecting the centuries-old ethnographic national and spiritual cultural heritage, as well as the ancient national traditions were met with great interest of the event participants. Also during the event, a group of teenage and young athletes demonstrated their sport abilities. The festive event in the park, decorated with Novruz attributes, was continued with an outstanding concert program prepared by the region's workers of culture. The amusing performances of Kesa and Kechal, being the lead characters of Novruz, caused the most positive emotions among the audience.
