Gabala hosted an event dedicated to “Azerbaijan’s Peace Policy and the Protection of Human Rights”
As part of the “Peace Month”, the Gabala Region Heydar Aliyev Centre and the City Branch No. 2 of the Centralized Library System jointly organized an educational event on August 26 titled “Azerbaijan’s Peace Policy and the Protection of Human Rights”. Speakers noted that fostering a culture of peace and protecting human rights are among the priorities of state policy in Azerbaijan. They emphasized that this policy, initiated by National Leader Heydar Aliyev and successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, contributes to lasting stability in the region during the post-conflict period. They also highlighted the exceptional role of cultural and library institutions in nurturing the younger generation in the spirit of peace.
