On September 18th, 2026, the Gabala Region Cultural Center hosted an event entitled “Our Sovereignty — Our National Pride”, dedicated to September 20th — Sovereignty Day. Culture workers and young people took part in the event. At the beginning of the event, a minute of silence was observed in memory of our compatriots who died for the territorial integrity of our country. The speakers at the event noted that marking September 20th as Sovereignty Day is an important event in the history of Azerbaijani statehood, and spoke about the importance of protecting state sovereignty, remaining committed to national and spiritual values, and further strengthening a sense of patriotism among the younger generation.
