General education institutions across the region hosted a series of events marking the 103rd anniversary of the birth of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev
General and preschool education institutions in Gabala region organized a series of events to commemorate the 103rd anniversary of the birth of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. The events opened with the playing of the National Anthem, followed by a one-minute moment of silence in honor of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who gave their lives for the territorial integrity of the country. At the events, which were attended by teaching staff and students of educational institutions, speakers emphasized that National Leader Heydar Aliyev made great contributions to the restoration and enrichment of statehood traditions in Azerbaijan, the high appreciation of tolerance and multiculturalism, and the preservation of national, spiritual, and moral values. They also noted that, as a result of the genius leader Heydar Aliyev’s wisdom, political will, and foresight, significant achievements were attained in the field of education, as in other areas. At the conclusion of the events, a documentary on the life and work of Heydar Aliyev, the founder and architect of the independent Azerbaijani state, was screened, along with literary and artistic performances presented by the students.
