Graduates who achieved high scores in the admission process and were accepted into higher education institutions came together for a meeting
Graduates who scored over 600 points in the university entrance examinations for the 2026-2027 academic year gathered for a meeting jointly organized by the Gabala District Education Sector and the Gabala City Committee of the Education and Science Workers’ Trade Union. The event commenced with the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. A one-minute silence was then observed in tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of our lands. In her remarks, Ataya Osmanova, Deputy Head of the Gabala District Executive Power, noted that the education strategy founded by National Leader Heydar Aliyev is being successfully continued today by President Ilham Aliyev. She emphasized that the growing number of graduates from the district gaining admission to higher education institutions each year is a clear indication of this progress, and wished the students success in their future academic endeavors. The speakers congratulated the young people on gaining admission to higher education institutions and embarking on their student journey. They encouraged them to become qualified professionals who will contribute to the country and society, honor the trust of their teachers and parents, and uphold the reputation of their district. They further noted that the continued state support for education has contributed to the steady growth of achievements in this field. During the event, the graduates, their parents, and education professionals who addressed the gathering expressed their gratitude to the state for the attention and support provided to young people. The event concluded with gifts being presented to the graduates, followed by a commemorative group photo.
