Grain harvest campaign continues in an organized manner in the Gabala region
In the current season, grain crops have been sown across a total area of 19,200 hectares in the Gabala region. Of this, 11,970 hectares are under wheat cultivation and 7,230 hectares under barley cultivation. As of July this year, harvesting has been completed on 5,950 hectares, accounting for 31 percent of the region's total sown area. A total of 18,627 tonnes of grain has been harvested from these areas, with an average yield of 31.3 centners per hectare. In particular, 3,003 tonnes of wheat have been harvested from 910 hectares, while 15,624 tonnes of barley have been harvested from 5,040 hectares. It is expected that harvesting on the remaining areas will be completed as soon as possible by the end of the season, with high yield indicators being achieved.
