In Gabala district, the 36th anniversary of “Janaury 20 - The National Mourning Day” was commemorated by visiting the Martyrs’ Alley

On January 20, 2026, on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of “January 20 – The National Mourning Day” employees of the region executive power, law enforcement agencies, departments, enterprises, organizations, families of martyrs from the Patriotic War, war participants, veterans, and representatives of the district community visited Gabala District Martyrs’ Alley Complex. They paid great respect to the memory of the martyrs, laid bouquets on the graves and memorial plaques, and recited prayers for the souls of the martyrs. At 12:00 pm, on the occasion of “January 20 – The National Mourning Day”, the memory of the martyrs was honored with a one-minute silence across Gabala district.
