In Gabala region, sericulturists continue the rearing of silkworms

In this season, it is planned to reach 5 tons of fresh cocoons production in Gabala region. For the rearing of silkworms and cocoon production, 126 boxes (2.52 kg) of silkworm eggs have been distributed to 52 sericulturist households under contractual arrangements. At present, silkworm rearing in the region is being conducted in line with the established guidelines. This season, more than 90 rural residents in Gabala have been engaged in sericulture, ensuring employment in this sector.
