KOBIA representatives visited the Gabala State Vocational Education Center and lavender-growing farm
On May 27th, the Board Chairperson of KOBIA (Small and Medium Business Development Agency), Orkhan Mammadov, and the Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power, Sabuhi Abdullayev, got acquainted with the conditions and workshops created in the Gabala State Vocational Education Center, as well as with trainings conducted within the project titled "Youth Business Workshop", jointly implemented by KOBIA, the State Employment Agency, and the State Agency on Vocational Education. During the meeting, the guests and the Center's management shared views on professional training meeting the private sector's requirements and the work done within this project. It should be noted that the "Youth Business Workshop" project is currently being implemented in Jalilabad, Aghdam, and Gabala. As part of the project, young people who have successfully completed training will be provided with the equipment to start their own business. The guests visited a lavender-growing farm on the territory of Chukhur Gabala village in Gabala Region, provided with KOBIA's various support and services. They got acquainted with the farm activities and its agritourism potential.
