A memorial complex to the hero of the Patriotic War Abdurahmanov Afgan Aghasaf was opened in Gabala region
On May 25, 2022, a memorial complex to the hero of the Patriotic War Abdurahmanov Afgan Aghasaf was opened in the yard of the city secondary school No. 3 named after the martyr. Speakers at the event, attended by the heads of region’s executive power, law enforcement agencies, departments, institutions, family members of the martyr and members of the public, spoke about the victory of the Azerbaijani army in 44 days under the leadership of Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the heroism of the brave son of Gabala, martyr Afgan Abdurahmanov, and a poetry composition was performed by schoolchildren.
Family members of the martyr thanked Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for the attention and care shown by the state.
